Freewriting

Today we started off class by taking a class photo. We took the photo by the staircase at the EC building. When we went back to class, we learned about freewriting. Freewriting means that you can whatever you want without stopping. You can write whatever comes to thought. In this type of writing you can put "blah, blah, blah" if you don't have anything to write or if your mind is blank. You can easily fill up half a page within 5 minutes. I think freewriting is really easy and fun. I'm going to use freewriting for the "all about me essay".

  1. I like how you started off explaining about us taking our class picture down at the stair case before class :) Gosh I wasnt even ready for the picture cause the photographer just snapped away without warning us when! Anyway, I agree about freewriting being fun! Especially that we can just write "blah blah blah" if we wanted to!

  2. The picture was a little blurry. I think we should take another picture but this time with a SLR camera. =]

  3. Doing the freewriting first is a great way to start writing on a paper or essay like the "All about me essay" because we can get all these ideas in our head and write it down. :]

  4. I totally agree with you! After free writing in class, I decided to use it every time I'm going to write an essay.

  5. I think we should take another class picture so that everyone can be seen better! Anyway other than that, freewriting is really helpful when writing my essays. I will always use it for essays in the future.
