Today we went over the three tools that can help organize our supporting material which are: listing, clustering, and outlining. We also learned that we need a Strong Controlling Idea, that is effective. We went over the common forms of dividing and organizing topics which include: Narration, Exemplification, Analysis by division, Process by analysis, and Cause and Effect. We also did some examples on our outline exercise.
