Today in class, we learned that a Narrative Essay deals with our everyday lives, our experiences and stories that can entertain people. It has five parts, the situation, conflict, struggle, outcome and the meaning. These parts should be in a narrative story or else the reader will not be able to completely understand it. We also learned about the Descriptive writing and how it has two types. The first type of a Descriptive Writing is the objective description which presents the subject clearly and directly. The second type is the subjective description, it deals with clarity and direct but unlike the first type it conveys or shows feelings about the subject.

I agree it is a part of our lives. We run into them without even know it.
ReplyDeleteWe do use these techniques when we speak as well.
ReplyDeleteTrue , these steps should be used in an essay so it helps the reader completely understand what he or she is reading.
ReplyDeleteSubjective description is my favorite one to use. It really gets the reader to feel what you are trying to convey.
