Yearning for Love / The Drag

Today's class we performed two exercises: Yearning for Love and The Drag. The first story was about an arranged marriage that the daughter did not agree with now being in America; however, as a traditional family, she has no choice. The second story talked about a race car driver with experience bustling through the tracks. In both stories, we learned how to identify the descriptive and narration.

  1. My favorite passage was the Yearning for Love. Like I mentioned before it gave off such an emotional feel and kind of made you understand the hurt that both mother & daughter were feeling.
