Today we read and discussed chapter 7. The five narrative patterns are situation, conflict, struggle, outcome and meaning. The two types of description are objective description, which is facts; no feelings and subjective description, which is opinion and emotion. The first exercise was to identify the situation, conflict, struggle and outcome and meaning on the topic "A random, Unexpected, and Welcome Act of Kindness". The second exercise was to complete an outline on a cheating student. These exercises we're tough, but now I have a clearer understanding of what we learned today.

I enjoyed all the exercises. I hope you did as well.
ReplyDeleteIt was kind of hard with the exercises.
ReplyDeleteI also found the exercises tough, but after a while of reviewing, I managed to complete it.
ReplyDeleteThe exercises were very helpful and helped me understand a lot more on the subject. I also prefer a subjective form of writing so people could understand my opinion on the topic at hand.
ReplyDeleteI hope you did as well
