Classification November 7
For today's class session we have started on Chapter 12: Classification. Classification is basically explaining the characteristics of groups, persons, places, things or ideas. When classifying, you must have a principle, which is the controlling idea. Arrange your classification in terms of classes, which relates to that of your subject. We did Exercise 1 which allowed us to identify classes that overlap, or have no relation to the principle. We also did Exercise 2 where we had to classify items commonly seen in a yard sale into groups.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure the exercises would really help me better understand the lesson. It's been tough having to learn everything on my own at home.
