Hafa Adai,
Today we went over the five narrative patterns which are: Situation, Conflict, Struggle, Outcome, and Meaning. Situation:Identify the kind of problem . Conflict: Indicate when and where it occurred. Struggle and Outcome: Provide an account of what happened. Meaning: If appropriate, write a recommendation for what could be done to avoid a repetition of such an incident. The Point of view shows the relation of the writer to the subject, and usually remains the same throughout the passage. The first person is involved or detached. The third person is a point of view. There are two types of descriptions which are : The objective description which has facts and no emotions, and the subjective description which has opinions and feelings. The Techniques of Descriptive Writing are:
1. Dominant Impression
2.Word Choice
3.Point of View
4. Order
