Today was the day after the 10 year anniversary of 911, and also our in class time after about what seemed like forever. Well today in class we discussed various ways of doing an outline and what types of outlines there are. I found that the most commonly used outlines, with myself and with others is the 'exemplification' form. Before today, I never really knew that there were different types of outlines, but I find it helpful. It allows you to know what you may need to write, like for example, if you are doing an exemplification outline, then you must list examples of your topic sentence. We also did an activity which I found helpful for us to be able to distinguish the different forms of outlines.
